Oogachaga is recruiting volunteers

Oogachaga is a charitable, pro-family, sexuality affirming, counseling and personal development agency for LGBTQ individuals and communities.

We are expanding and looking for volunteers to join our big family. If you can spare some time, want to do a little more for the community and feel that the following volunteering positions interests you, drop us an email at contact@oogachaga.com or call us at 626 86 626.

1. OCMSM hotline volunteer/Internet Outreach volunteer (for male only)
You …
· care to listen and are non judgmental.
· are comfortable to talk about sex, HIV and STIs on the phone or online.
· can perform at least two hotline duty per month ( any Thu, Sat or Sun)
· can attend training over five weekends in June and July.


2. Counselor/ Psychologist/ Social Worker
You …
· are gay or gay affirmative
· have at least a diploma in counseling, degree in social work or applied psychology, and some years of clinical experiences
· competent in handling sexuality and relationship issues


3. Public Affair Manager
You …
· have a keen interest in managing media and public enquiries.
· have a strong command of English and some prior public relations experiences.


4. Volunteer Welfare Manager
You …
· are willing to listen and understand fellow volunteers.
· have some working experiences with volunteers.
· like to organise activities for volunteers


5. Event Coordinator
You …
· get an adrenaline rush from managing events.
· have some event management training.
· enjoy interaction with people
· can communicate fluently in English and/or Chinese


6. Assistant Webmaster
You …
· like being online and has an eye for details
· have experiences in managing websites.
· know html, flash, php & mysql
