Has been a while since I blog anything.

4 November
Went Karaoke with BX, Monica dun feel like coming and I was too lazy to go over to her place to help her packing. She is moving out of her current place. And sort of moving out of her past life. By the time we finishd singing, it was pouring and exactly one year anniversary of my singlehood. The street scene was beautiful. You hardly see this side of Chinatown.





5 November
The call from PA finally came, probably just minutes before I wanted to call them about my job application. They are offering me the job with a better than expected pay package. Prepared the resignation letter and broke the news to MZ. He looked shocked and then worried that he is going to take over all that projects which I have been working for the past 2 yrs. It is not easy for him, but yes, I am leaving the company.

9 November
Tendered my resignation. Could not remember much what my current boss said. Not important anymore. Stood my ground and refused to move the leaving date. She told me that she is going on a holiday and not having me around will be difficult. Ahem... like I fucking care.

11 November
Went to JB again. Spent 4 hours feeding and playing with Kenneth. I have not focused on someone for a long time. Took half a hour trying to feed him because he cannot see clearly and I cannot figure out if he want more porridge or not. Then brought him to the gym to play with the other kids.

Suyi and Gary decided to get Kenneth to stand on his feet for a while. Apparently, Kenneth was able to stand on his own before, but because the home is so understaffed, very little attention was given to each kid and many of the kids lost the strength to stand. We tied Kenneth to a standing frame and have to press his feet down so that he can train his leg muscles. He was trembling and crying throughout the 10 min or so. That must have felt like forever to him. Sang softly to him for almost one hour after that. Seriously, noone actually got so much attention from me for a long while. You cannot talk to him, you just have to feel what he want. I am learning, learning from a child.

The home is located in Saleng, near Senai. Before we head back to Singapore, we had a sumptuous lunch at a vegetarian restaurant where I resisted the idea of having a eggless cake. Gary told me that we are planning to celebrate Christmas and New Year with them. :) So excited and looking forward to it.










12 November
Went for a quick dinner with MZ. We worked together for two years but we never really go out for dinner. Because there are only two designers, we usually take turns to have our meals. We had a long discussion on what are our plans and what are the things in our lives. He told me about his Hungarian GF Dora, whom you will see in all Lee Hwa advertisment. She is a hottie. I told him about my dream of setting up my own private practice in future. He shared with me his plan to do his own business. Then we smoked Shesha for a while. That was my first puff in my entire life. Pleasant taste but I know it is bad for health. Fate brought us together as colleagues and we know a fair bit of each other lives.

Went off to watch Lust.Caution with the JLC. It is a good movie. I din like the sex scene though cos it is too painful to watch. It was not pleasurable.

Like what I always tell people, I like connections with people. As much as I dun say it out, I like the connection with people I interacted with. Be it BX, Monica, Gary, MZ, JLC and Kenneth for these few days or anyone who appears in my life.
